Katie and Diana, aka the Saiint Sisters, have created Saiint, a fashion and lifestyle blog that discovers ethical and sustainable brands. Their passion for sustainability, ethics and creating a positive social impact shines through their blog.
We have been a fan of their work for a while and are delighted to share with this interview with you.
What do you love about Christmas?
We love the fact that it gives you a chance to stop, relax and reflect on the year gone by in time to celebrate the new year. It's almost as though we don't give ourselves that opportunity throughout the year, but 'permission' is given at Christmas time :)
Of course, the fact that we can eat like crazy adds to the fun too!
What is your favourite Good Gift?
This may sound cheesy, but some of the best gifts are not even material items, but the gift of your time or your understanding can go a long way.
One year our family gift was a lovely holiday in Florence with our mother. It was just beautiful!
If you can't get away then, a lovely bit of knitwear at Christmas goes a long way. Check out our gift guide for some ideas. It's out soon!
What is the best gift you’ve ever given?
When we were really young we gave our mum a box of cut out red hearts and that was just too cute! She loved it and we think she may even still have it to this day!
Black Friday is the traditional day for bargains, discounts and special offers galore on your favourite brands. It is also seen as a great opportunity for a brand to tempt you into trying new products at a discounted price.
But what if there is a negative consequence to these ‘bargains’?
To celebrate our 3rd birthday we have launched our Eco and Bee friendly collection in the beautiful stores of The Conran Shop in Chelsea, Marylebone, and Selfridges on Oxford Street. Their considered design-led shops feature products that aim to inspire and excite and now include our award-winning ethical luxury products too.
The Soap Co. with its Eco & Bee Friendly collection is making real headway in the retail, corporate and hospitality space, affording us a unique opportunity to promote our eco and sustainability agenda to an ever-widening cohort of people concerned to make a difference to our planet's health.
