We have had a surprise visit from the South Korean Government! Seung-Kyu Park, president of KEAD, the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, and his team visited to learn more about the employment opportunities available to our staff. South Korea is home to lots of manufacturing firms such as Samsung and Hyundai, but people with disabilities face similar difficulties when looking for employment as they do here. We sent some of our citrus bar soaps, handmade in the Lake District, back to Korea, and received these beautiful presents in return!
Black Friday is the traditional day for bargains, discounts and special offers galore on your favourite brands. It is also seen as a great opportunity for a brand to tempt you into trying new products at a discounted price.
But what if there is a negative consequence to these ‘bargains’?
To celebrate our 3rd birthday we have launched our Eco and Bee friendly collection in the beautiful stores of The Conran Shop in Chelsea, Marylebone, and Selfridges on Oxford Street. Their considered design-led shops feature products that aim to inspire and excite and now include our award-winning ethical luxury products too.
The Soap Co. with its Eco & Bee Friendly collection is making real headway in the retail, corporate and hospitality space, affording us a unique opportunity to promote our eco and sustainability agenda to an ever-widening cohort of people concerned to make a difference to our planet's health.
